The school aims to impart its students sound education, instill culture and good manners in the most congenial, healthy and orderly environment as to help them blossom into confident, self-reliant and disciplined global citizen of tomorrow. Affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi in 2009, Sree Sankara Vidyalaya follows the Curriculum and Syllabus prescribed by the board. Besides pre-primary, the school affords instruction up to XIIth standard.

As far as our co-scholastic or co-curricular activities are concerned, Inter-house Cultural and Talent shows are organized on a regular basis to provide a platform to the talented students. Be it singing, dancing or playing musical instruments.
The school also has a number of clubs for the students at the Primary, Middle, High School and Higher Secondary levels, besides having a plethora of activities like Guest Lectures, Quiz Competitions, Field Trips etc are organized exposing the students to a wide variety of experiences.
GUIDANCE & COUNSELING
The need for guidance and counseling in modern times has increased because the problems each individual has to face in the various domains of life have increased manifold. The young minds of children are often not mature enough to critically evaluate baffling situations are continuously faced with.
The children always need someone mature and caring enough to understand and help in the solution of problems, and thus, avoid tensions and conflicts. And since the purpose of any education system is not only to foster academic learning but also all round development of children, the school has a dedicated guidance and counseling body to inculcate aspects like self-reliance, self-discipline, taking initiative, independence of thought, understanding relationships with people and environment, responsible action in the young minds from a very early stage, and thus, playing a major influence in children’s personal-social development, as they progress through primary and secondary stages of schooling.
